Terms & Conditions

 

PICKUP & RETURN

• Pickup/return date will be stated on your invoice 

pickup and return date and time must be confirmed at booking time 

PAYMENTS
• All payments must be completed 48 hours prior to your event into business bank account or your order will be cancelled
• Bond must be paid 48 hours prior to your event into business bank account or cash must be paid on the day of delivery 

BOND
• Bond is refunded back after 3-5 working days into same bank account once all hire items have been returned 
• 2 ID's required with current address
• Bond must be paid 48 hours prior to your event into business bank account or cash must be paid on the day of delivery 

LATE RETURNS

• Late returns incur penalties unless prior arrangements made
• Any items that are missing/not returned on the specified return date will be deducted from the bond and may incur extra rental charges

CONFIRMATION
• Hire items will not be confirmed for hire unless full payment is received 
• Change of mind won't be accepted 48 hours before event date 

Once hire items have been picked up from the warehouse so please choose carefully
• Hire items that have been taken from the warehouse and not used will not be refunded
• Once you have paid your invoice, you have entered into an agreement to all terms and conditions stated. 

DELIVERY/PICKUP
• Delivery/pickup charges apply on the area of delivery 
• Minimum order of $350 for delivery service, excluding bond charges
•  Standard delivery is door to door, if there are stairs, lifts or far access this needs to be confirmed prior to delivery date
• Delivery/pickup does not include setup or pack down

ORDER CANCELLATIONS
• Any cancellations 48 hours before your event will not receive hire refund only bond refund

Anything before 48 hours  will not receive a refund, only a credit note which can be used in store anytime. 

DAMAGES
• Breakages/damages to any item will incur market rate price to be deducted off the bond 
• Any items you have received that is damaged or broken staff must be notified immediately 

SETUP/PACK DOWN
•  Setup/Pack down charges are seperate to delivery charges 

PROPERTY
• All hire items are the property of Decorium Events

LINEN
• All linen must be returned unwashed
• All sashes must be untied

 

CROCKERY/CUTLERY/WARMERS
• Must be returned clean or cleaning fee will apply 

STAFF OVERTIME 
• If there are any delays for event setups/pack downs pro rata charges will apply accordingly per staff member 

PUBLIC LIABILITY 
 Decorium Events holds no responsibility for injuries or damages caused to any person or property from any hire items.
